Purchasers must be 18 years or older.

Only 10,000 tickets at $50 each will be sold.

There are 3 prizes including 1 Early Bird Prize, 1 Bonus Prizes, and 1 Main Draw Prize.

All winners will be notified in writing and the first and last name of all prize winners will be published online the day after each draw at grandgetawaylottery.com.au.

Each winner must present documentation to meet the 100-point proof of identity. This equates to their current driver’s licence and passport or birth certificate. The winner must also provide their official winning lottery ticket in order to claim their prize.

Publicity

The Promoter may use prize winners’ details for promotional purposes. By entering the Promotion, the Major Prize Winner agrees to participate in reasonable media activities concerning the Promotion and to photographs or video of the winner being used for the Promoter’s marketing and promotional activities (both in print and on the internet).

Early Bird Prize

There is 1 Early Bird Prize of 1 x Travel Voucher valued at $13,000.

The winner of the Early Bird Prize draw will be published online at grandgetawaylottery.com.au on Tuesday 21 November 2017 after the prize draw has taken place. The winner will also be notified in writing.

The winner of the Early Bird Prize will be re-entered for the Bonus Draw and the Main Draw.

Bonus Prizes

There is 1 Bonus Prize of 1 x Travel Voucher valued at $7,000.

The winner of the Bonus Prize draw will be published online at grandgetawaylottery.com.au on Tuesday 5 December 2017 after the prize draw has taken place. The winner will also be notified in writing.

The winner of the Bonus Prize will be re-entered for the Main Draw.

Main Draw

There is Main Prize of 1 x $160,000 cash.

The first and last name and ticket number of the winner of the Main Prize draw will be published on our Lottery Facebook page named Cancer Council Lifestyle Lottery and at grandgetawaylottery.com.au on Friday 5 January 2018 after the draw has taken place. The winner will be notified in writing.

The winner has 48 hours to claim the prize, provide copy of bank statement outlining Account BSB, Account Number and Account name and provide certified ID to Cancer Council WA. The funds will be transferred in Australia dollars to a bank account in the name of the winner by electronic funds transfer within 7 days of claiming.

Holidays: Holiday prizes will be issued as gift vouchers that can be used on specified dates and routes. Prizes described are for two people and to the total value of the gift vouchers. All travel dates must be negotiated with the travel agent. The winner may choose to travel outside the specified dates, or to any other destination/s, but will be liable for any additional costs calculated by the travel agent.

Holiday prizes do not include travel insurance, spending money or any other expenses unless otherwise stated. It is the winner's responsibility to ensure that he/she has valid passports, visas and re-entry permits, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the winner's sole responsibility.

Conduct of draws: All prize draws will be conducted by executives of Cancer Council WA at its offices at Level 1, 420 Bagot Rd, Subiaco WA 6008.

Unclaimed prizes will be dealt with in accordance with the procedures set out in the Gaming and Wagering Commission Act 1987 (WA).

Refunds: Requests for refunds will need written approval of the Gaming and Wagering Commission. This process may take a number of weeks. Refunds cannot be issued after the prize draws.

Changes: Where it is lawful to do so, these Terms and Conditions may be updated to address any errors or to clarify information and re-published online at grandgetawaylottery.com.au.

Excluded purchasers: Tickets must not be purchased by: Cancer Council WA, its board members, executive team members, and employees who have been involved in the organisation of the lottery. During the conduct of a draw, if the Cancer Council WA CEO (or delegate) conducting the draw is satisfied that an excluded purchaser is a prize winner, then the relevant prize will be re-drawn. If the Cancer Council WA CEO (or delegate) is satisfied after the conclusion of the draw but before a prize has been collected that an excluded purchaser is a prize winner, then the excluded purchaser will not be entitled to collect the prize. The decision of the Cancer Council WA CEO (or delegate) will be final and binding.

Confirming winners:  In the event that there is any doubt or dispute as to the identity of the winner or as to the manner in which the prize is to be paid then the matter will be referred to the Cancer Council WA CEO (or delegate) for resolution.
The decision of the CEO shall be final and binding. The CEO will not be acting as an arbitrator and the CEO’s decision shall not be subject to challenge or review.

Acceptance: By participating in the Grand Getaway Lottery you are deemed to accept these Terms and Conditions.
