There are 60,000 tickets available and 4008 prizes to be won, that means that mathematically each ticket holder will have a 1 in 15 chance to win!
How will I know if I have won?
The winners of the Ultimate Lifestyle Lottery will be published online at ultimatelifestylelottery.com.au on Friday 30 June 2017.
All winners will also be notified in writing.
If I win a car/holiday, can I change it, or get cash instead?
This is a decision for the individual car dealer/travel agent responsible for the prize and you can discuss this with them directly.
How do I claim my prize?
If you are one of the lucky 4008 winners in the Ultimate Lifestyle Lottery you will receive a letter from Cancer Council WA providing details on how to claim your prize.
Can I claim this as a tax deduction?
Lottery ticket purchases are not tax deductible as they are not a donation.
Can I buy a ticket in two names?
We have to allocate the prize to one winner. Prizes will be awarded to the individual named on the official ticket.
Can people under 18 years old purchase a ticket?
No. Unfortunately people who purchase a ticket must be over 18 years of age. Tickets cannot be purchased under the name of, or for a minor.
Are the prizes in the Ultimate Lifestyle Lottery donated?
Unfortunately the prizes are not donated. Cancer Council WA negotiates an agreed price with each of the prize partners.
How do you know your credit card and personal details are secure?
Cancer Council WA adheres to the current privacy laws when it comes to any of your personal data. Your credit card details are not stored and are wiped as soon as the transaction is processed.
Do you take Amex for payments?
Yes, we can accept Amex as well as Visa and MasterCard.
What programs does the money raised from the lottery fund?
Every lottery ticket sold will help Cancer Council WA bring the defeat of cancer closer. To achieve this, we will:
- Increase the reach and impact of our cancer education and support services
- Increase our investment in cancer research
- Increase our advocacy work to ensure the Government takes action to reduce cancer in our community
- Continue to improve cancer outcomes for regional cancer patients through early detection and support services
When will the lottery be drawn?
The Lottery closes on and will be drawn on at Cancer Council WA Head Office, L1, 420 Bagot Rd, Subiaco 6008.
Who will be present at the Lottery draw?
Cancer Council WA Executive and observed by its legal advisers K&L Gates.

What is the Early Bird?
The Early Bird draw is for all ticket numbers purchased prior to the Early Bird close on . The Early Bird winner will receive a cash prize of $150,000. The winning Early Bird ticket will go back into the bonus and main prize draws.
If I purchase my ticket early for the Early Bird prize, do I need to register or purchase again?
If you purchase your ticket within the Early Bird period to , you don't have to register or purchase again. Being eligible for the Early Bird simply means that you've bought your ticket before , which means you are eligible for the $150,000 Early Bird cash prize as well as the bonus and main lottery draw!
If I am the winner of the Early Bird Prize Draw, when will I receive my prize?
Cancer Council WA will be in regular contact with you once you claim your prize and endeavour to deposit the funds within seven days.
Bonus Draw FAQs
What is the Bonus Prize?
One bonus prize will be drawn each week for seven consecutive weeks. The earlier you purchase your ticket the more chances you have to win. Bonus Draw winners are re-entered in the remaining Bonus Draws, along with the major draw.
- Tickets purchased prior to 16:00 Monday 24 April 2017 are eligible for Bonus Draw 1.
- Tickets purchased prior to 16:00 Monday 1 May 2017 are eligible for Bonus Draw 2.
- Tickets purchased prior to 16:00 Monday 8 May 2017 are eligible for Bonus Draw 3.
- Tickets purchased prior to 16:00 Monday 15 May 2017 are eligible for Bonus Draw 4.
- Tickets purchased prior to 16:00 Monday 22 May 2017 are eligible for Bonus Draw 5.
- Tickets purchased prior to 16:00 Monday 29 May 2017 are eligible for Bonus Draw 6.
- Tickets purchased prior to 16:00 Monday 5 June 2017 are eligible for Bonus Draw 7.
If I purchase my ticket early for the Bonus Prizes, do I need to register of purchase again?
If you purchase your ticket within the Bonus period you don't have to register or purchase again. Being eligible for the Bonus Draws simply mean you've bought your ticket before the relevant Bonus Draw date which means you are eligible to win a bonus prize. You'll also be re-entered in the draw for a chance to win a prize in the main lottery draw.
If I am the winner of one of the Bonus Prizes, when will I receive my prize?
Cancer Council WA will be in regular contact with you once you claim your prize and put you in contact with our suppliers to arrange collection of your prize.
Major Draw FAQs
When will the main draw take place?
The final ticket sales will close on Wednesday 14 June 2017 at 16:00 WST and the main draw will take place on Wednesday 28 June 2017 at 11:00 WST at the Cancer Council WA head office.
How much time will I have to decide between the Ultimate Prize package and the $XX million dollars cash?
The Ultimate Prize winner will be given 48 hours from the time of notification to make their decision.
Can I come and view the home?
Of course – the home is open every weekend during the lottery period. You can visit the home at 104 Alfred Road in beautiful Claremont on Saturday or Sunday between 1pm – 5pm.
How are the prizes drawn?
All prizes will be drawn and issued in order from first prize to last.
What conditions are there if you win one of the holiday prizes?
Overseas travel prizes will be issued as gift vouchers from Bicton Travel.
Prizes described are for two people with travel dates to be discussed with the travel agent. The winner may choose to travel to other destination/s, but will be liable for any additional costs.
Domestic Holidays are provided by COMO The Treasury and are issued as gift vouchers.
These prizes are not redeemable for cash, not valid during published peak periods including, Easter, Public Holidays, or Event Weekends.
